REDUCE YOUR WORK LOAD

and DO A MITZVAH
for JEWISH AMERICAN HISTORY

Are you facing the constraints of time and work load as you consider ways to join the national celebration of the 350th Anniversary of Jewish Settlement in the United States?  You could share this special milestone with a year-long reading fest.  I will help you guide your adult patrons through our Jewish American history starting from the top.

I offer a year of book reviews for your Library Column in your Temple Bulletin.  The U. S. history starts in 1654 and moves chronologically to the present.  Various types of books, geared to popular interest, include classics, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, museum catalogs, and memoirs.

To subscribe to the book review series, please follow three quick steps:

1)  Write a brief note to Rabbi Robert Gan of Temple Isaiah requesting permission to reprint the articles in the Temple Bulletin, Isaian, by Librarian Ellen Cole.

2)  Write a check for $18 to Temple Isaiah Levine Library.

3)  Write the email address where you wish the reviews to be sent.

Please send these to:  Levine Library, Temple Isaiah, 10345 West Pico Boulvard, Los Angeles, CA 90064.

Happy Anniversary!  Happy 350th!  Happy ready-made reviews!

--Ellen G. Cole,
  Temple Isaiah Librarian
